This 6 mile route is mostly flat. An 80 ft Fort Mason Green hill marks the half way point. The approach to the Golden Gate Bridge is the final and the most difficult part of the route. It is a steep trail that will take you up to 200 ft high straight to the bridge. And since you have made it this far, you might also want to cross the most photographed bridge in the world!
